TL50. "CUNNINGHAM & CO PITTSBURGH
PA", (RB7# 722), bluish aquamarine, cylindrical, smooth
base, half-gallon (10"H x 4 5/8"D), outwardly rolled
and tooled collar formed to accept a cork stopper, a mint bottle
with some minor exterior wear. Cunningham & Co. Glass Works,
Pittsburgh, PA, 1870-1880, scarce. Ex. Alex Kerr Collection.
This wonderfully crude fruit jar excels in ALL regards, exhibiting
pleasingly crude glass and glistening with brilliant luster.
Though not "blue" by any means, the bottle is in fact
a strong bluish aquamarine in color and as with any bottle in
the noted Kerr collection, it is a superior example of its type.
