RARE BURGANDY PUCE ARABESQUE DRAKES

SG60. "(ARABESQUE MOTIF) / DRAKES / (ARABESQUE MOTIF) / PLANTATION / X / BITTERS - PATENTED / 1862", (Ring# D102), deep burgundy puce with purple highlights, figural 6-log cabin, smooth base, 10"H x 2 7/8"W, applied sloping collar, a mint bottle exhibiting some minor roof edge wear. American, 1865-1875, a rare bottle.

This colorful arabesque Drakes features particularly bold embossed lettering and exhibits wonderfully crude, heavily whittled glass.
