DEEP ORANGE AMBER GXII-29 UNION CLASPED HANDS HALF-PINT

RW10. "UNION" / CLASPED HANDS - EAGLE, (McK# GXII-29), deep orange amber, smooth base, half-pint, applied mouth with ring, about mint (pinhead-sized top of lip flake). Blown at a Midwestern Glass Works, 1865-1880. The large chunk of slag imbedded in the side of this flask is probably the result of an incomplete mold "clean out" and it is a wonderful feature that lends this piece a unique character. SOLD!
