RARE BRILLIANT PUCE MASTER INK CYLINDER - MINT

MN14. MASTER INK, brilliant puce, cylindrical, smooth base, 7 1/2"H x 2 7/8"D, applied square collar, mint. American, 1875-1885, rare color for a master ink bottle.

This spectacular master ink bottle is PLASTERED with whittle marks and blown in the best possible shade of pink/strawberry puce bottle glass. (Photos do not do the piece justice - trust me, when this bottle is set in a window it EXPLODES with color!) The bottle is perfect in every way and it is truly a wonderful piece of glass.
