Dealers Specializing in the Sale of Early American Bottles, Glass and Period Decorative Arts

ITEM SP89. SHOULDERED CONE INK, brilliant sapphire blue, cylindrical, pontil scar, 2 5/8"H, inwardly rolled mouth, about mint (nearly imperceptible inner mouth bruise). American, C. 1850, rare.

We are very pleased to offer a small collection of inks hand-picked by a discerning, longtime collector. Each of the inks is in some way "special" and all are priced to SELL!

The pictures clearly tell the story of this absolutely GORGEOUS cone ink. The noted lip flaw is VERY minor and really of little consequence, especially when one considers that other known examples are dug and cleaned while this example is of attic quality.
