BRILLIANT ORANGE AMBER STODDARD UMBRELLA INK

ITEM SP87. UMBRELLA INK, brilliant orange amber, octagonal, pontil scar, 2 ¼"H, inwardly rolled mouth, mint. Blown at a New England Glass House, C. 1850.

We are very pleased to offer a small collection of inks hand-picked by a discerning, longtime collector. Each of the inks is in some way "special" and all are priced to SELL!

Unusual in color, weight (relatively light) and mouth treatment, this likely Stoddard-made ink is a particularly pleasing example.
