SUPERB SAPPHIRE BLUE IRON PONTILED KNICKERBOCKER SODA WATER

ITEM SP65. "W.P. - KNICKER - BOCKER - SODA WATER - 164.18TH ST. N.Y. 1848," deep sapphire blue, octagonal, iron pontil scar, 8"H, applied blob-style collar, dug and lightly cleaned to near perfect condition. American, C. 1855, scarce. Appearing initially to be an attic find, this gorgeous soda water bottle has in fact been professionally cleaned but only lightly so and it displays beautifully. The embossed lettering is stronger than most and the bottle's brilliant, startlingly vibrant color will be the envy of other blue sodas in your collection. SOLD!
