ITEM SP48. PITKIN-TYPE
FLASK, clear yellow olive, 36 ribs, ribbed and swirled to the
right, pontil scar, 6 1/2"H x 4 1/4"W at widest point
x 2 ¼"D, sheared and fire polished mouth, mint. New
England, probably blown at a Connecticut Glass Works, 1790-1820,
scarce pattern.
This is the second time we have had the pleasure of offering
this wonderful "waffle pattern" Pitkin-type pint and
I like it even more this time around. It is a GEM!
