SUPERB
BRIGHT YELLOW AMBER UMBRELLA INK - MINT
ITEM SP39. UMBRELLA INK, bright
yellow amber, octagonal, pontil scar, 2 ½"H, inwardly
rolled mouth, mint. American, probably blown at a Mid-Atlantic
States Glass House, 1830-1850.
Highly whittled, brightly colored and crisply blown, this top-of-the-line
umbrella ink is blown in a lighter than normal shade of color
and it is most likely the product of a Baltimore Glass House.
