TUBE PONTIL GXV-7 GRANITE GLASS CO - STODDARD, NH FLASK

ITEM MK14. "GRANITE / GLASS / CO - STODDARD / NH", (McK# GXV-7), light, bright golden olive amber, jagged tubular pontil scar, pint, sheared and fire polished mouth, an attic quality example with two inconsequential, pinhead-sized spots of lip edge roughness. Blown at the Granite Glass Works, Stoddard, NH, 1850-1862.

It is this flask's lighter than normal color, boldly embossed lettering and extra-bubbly glass that make it an example guaranteed to inspire envy in your Stoddard collecting brethren.
