GII-24), brilliant sapphire blue, pontil scar, pint, sheared
and fire polished mouth, mint. Probably blown at the Kentucky
Glass Works, Louisville, KY, C. 1845, scarce color. Ex. Barry
D. Hogan Collection.
Although not as dark in color as some blue Louisville flasks,
this is a spectacular example with much crisper than normal embossing,
even color saturation and a wonderful, slightly everted mouth.
