ITEM CS12. BLOWN GLASS CHILD'S
MUG, deep aquamarine, cylindrical with applied solid glass handle,
pontil scar, 3 ½"H, sheared and tooled mouth, as
manufactured with a hard to find fissure across the crease of
the handle. American, probably blown at a New York State Glass
House, 1830-1850, rare.
Although diminutive in scale this handsome little mug was blown
from a hefty gather of glass lending it a pleasing presence.
