PRETTY GXV-7 LETTERED STODDARD, NH FLASK

ITEM CD27. "GRANITE / GLASS / CO - STODDARD / NH", (McK# GXV-7), light, bright golden olive amber, blowpipe pontil scar, pint, sheared and fire polished mouth, about mint (several tiny flakes appear to have been polished from the lip edge). Blown at the Granite Glass Works, Stoddard, NH, 1850-1862.

This handsome, crisply embossed Stoddard flask is a beautiful example with startling glass clarity and plenty of tiny bubbles.
