SCREAMING YELLOW GIV-32 ZANESVILLE EAGLE - MASONIC FLASK

ITEM 9822. "ZANESVILLE" / EAGLE / "OHIO / J. SHEPARD & CO" - MASONIC, (McK# GIV-32), clear brilliant yellow shading to a golden yellow nearer the base, pontil scar, pint, sheared and fire polished mouth, mint. Blown at the White Glass Works, Zanesville, OH, 1820-1830, rare color for this mold.

With its eye popping color, crisp mold impression and brilliant glass, this wonderful Ohio flask would sit comfortably in the finest of collections. Unlike others in this general color range the flask does not exhibit olive tones, instead presenting itself simply as yellow shading to gold at the base.
