ITEM 9534. "GREELEY'S BOURBON
/ BITTERS," clear olive green with a slight topaz tone,
figural barrel, smooth base, 9 ¼"H, applied collar,
about mint (several pinhead sized lip edge flakes and some manufacturer's
neck crazing). American, 1860-1870. Rare color.
This fine Greeley's is decidedly "green" in tone and
as shown, it passes light with ease and offers even top to bottom
color saturation. Though not technically perfect the noted condition
issues are minor, especially when considering a piece of this
color and overall quality. This is a desirable bottle that offers
pleasing overall whittle, crisply embossed lettering and in oh
so beautiful color.
