EXCEPTIONAL OVERSIZED ZANESVILLE, OH GLOBULAR BOTTLE - VERY RARE!

ITEM 9135. OVERSIZED GLOBULAR BOTTLE, golden amber, pontil scar, 11 ¼"H, outwardly folded mouth, a mint bottle with some expected light exterior wear. Midwestern, probably blown at the White Glass Works, Zanesville, OH, 1820-1840. Extremely rare size.

Recently deaccessioned by the Wunsch Americana Foundation, this rare and impressive bottle also carries a Garrison and Diana Stradling provenance. Midwestern globular bottles of this size are extremely rare and this is among the finest of the few we have encountered over the past several decades.
