ITEM 9045. CHESTNUT BOTTLE, pale yellow olive, pontil scar, 8 ¼"H, applied mouth, a mint bottle retaining some spotty interior residue. Blown at a New England Glass House, 1790-1820.

Thinly blown from a very pale batch of bottle glass, this fine chestnut bottle is an appealing example filled with bubbles and swirl lines. A good washing would remove some pesky interior residue (primarily at the base) and further reveal the beauty of this great early bottle.
