ITEM 8860. CHESTNUT BOTTLE, olive
yellow, pontil scar, 8 ¼"H, crudely applied mouth,
about mint (scattered exterior wear). New England, probably blown
at a Connecticut Glass House, 1790-1820.
This unusually high shouldered New England chestnut bottle is
a pleasing example with good color and several interesting striations
in the glass.
