3/4"H NEW ENGLAND CHESTNUT BOTTLE - ELONGATED NECK
ITEM 8735. CHESTNUT BOTTLE, pale
yellow olive, pontil scar, 5 ¾"H, crudely applied
mouth, mint. Blown at a New England Glass House, 1790-1820.
Delightfully crude, light in color and possessing an unusual
extended neck, this is a chestnut bottle any collector would
be proud to own. Remarkably, this beautiful piece of early glass
has survived the past 200 years with no damage or wear.
