ITEM 8629. CHESTNUT BOTTLE, olive
yellow with a distinct amber swirl, pontil scar, 5 3/8"H,
applied mouth, mint. New England, probably blown at a Hartford
County, CT Glass House, 1790-1820.
This singular example of early glass features a wonderful "glob"
of amber glass in the shoulder that perfectly complements the
light, bright and bubbly glass of the whole.
