ITEM 8616. EAGLE - EAGLE, (McK# GII-87), bright honey amber, half-pint, sheared and fire polished mouth, a mint flask with a tiny pontil flake that occurred during manufacture. Blown at the Granite Glass Company, Stoddard, NH, 1850-1862.

This far prettier than most Stoddard double eagle is one of a small group of fresh to the market flasks carefully assembled by a Salisbury, VT gentleman in the 80s and early 90s. Each of the flasks in the collection is bright, clean and free of wear or post-manufacture damage. This one is a real gem!
