ITEM 8449. CHESTNUT BOTTLE, olive
yellow, pontil scar, 10 1/8"H, crudely applied mouth, about
mint (tiny radiating potstone and an interior open bubble that
retains some content residue. Blown at a New England Glass House,
1790-1820, scarce size.
Noticeably oversized and decidedly "puffier" than other
chestnuts of its height, this is a beautiful bottle with good
color and loads of character.
