UNUSUAL
8 3/8" NEW ENGLAND CHESTNUT BOTTLE
ITEM 8286. CHESTNUT BOTTLE,
olive yellow, pontil scar, 8 3/8"H, applied mouth, about
mint (partially open interior bubble). Blown at a New England
Glass House, 1790-1820.
Although New England in origin this unusual and handsome chestnut
bottle is shaped more like those bottles blown in New Jersey
during the 18th century.
