BEAUTIFULLY CRUDE NEW ENGLAND GLOBULAR BOTTLE

ITEM 8285. GLOBULAR BOTTLE, clear olive green, pontil scar, 10 3/8"H, applied mouth, hard to find spider crack in the shoulder with numerous 3/8" radiations and some minor exterior wear. Blown at a New England Glass House, 1790-1820.

Although it is not technically "mint" this wonderful globular bottle displays beautifully and as noted, the catalogued damage is very difficult to locate. The bottle is filled with bubbles and swirl lines and the glass is a striking pure green in color.
