ITEM 8135. BLOWN THREE MOLD DECANTER,
(McK# GII-7), clear olive green, barrel-shaped cylinder, pontil
scar, 8 ½"H, applied sloping collar with ring, about
perfect (small hard-to-find partial bubble burst and some minor
exterior wear). Blown at the Keene Marlboro Street Glass House,
Keene, NH, 1820-1840, rare.
This handsome Keene, NH blown-three-mold decanter is a fine example
with a strong mold impression and transparent glass. The bottle
is quite rare and has always enjoyed favor amongst advanced collectors.
