ITEM 8058. EAGLE / "STODDARD / NH" - EAGLE, (McK# GII-82), bright honey amber, pontil scar, pint, sheared and fire polished mouth, about mint (small, paper thin open bubble near the medial rib). Blown at the Granite Glass Works, Stoddard, NH, 1850-1862, scarce.

This brightly colored Stoddard flask is accented by a long amber striation that runs across midbody. The mold impression is quite strong (the lettering is noticeably better than most) and there are numerous bubbles in the glass lending character.
