ITEM 8058. EAGLE / "STODDARD
/ NH" - EAGLE, (McK# GII-82), bright honey amber, pontil
scar, pint, sheared and fire polished mouth, about mint (small,
paper thin open bubble near the medial rib). Blown at the Granite
Glass Works, Stoddard, NH, 1850-1862, scarce.
This brightly colored Stoddard flask is accented by a long amber
striation that runs across midbody. The mold impression is quite
strong (the lettering is noticeably better than most) and there
are numerous bubbles in the glass lending character.
