GV-17 "HORN OF PLENTY" BLOWN THREE MOLD PITCHER

ITEM 8010. BLOWN THREE MOLD PITCHER, (McK# GV-17), clear, cylindrical with applied hollow glass handle, pontil scar, 8 ¼"H, tooled mouth with pour spout, about mint (a firing crack runs behind the lower handle attachment and is barely noticeable.) Blown at the Boston and Sandwich Glass Works, Sandwich, MA, 1825-1835, rare.

This rarely encountered Sandwich made "horn of plenty" pitcher is a fine example blown of brilliant metal and possessing a particularly strong mold impression.
