ITEM 7973. TWO-PIECE MOLD WHISKEY FLASK, olive green, smooth base, 8 5/8"H, applied blob-style collar, mint. Probably blown at a New England Glass House, C. 1870, scarce.

It is quite obviously the heart-stopping combination of form and crudity that make this flask a delight to the eye. Could there be any more bubbles in a piece of early glass? Originally covered in leather, this 19th century bottle has been preserved in pristine perfect condition for nearly 150 years!
