BRIGHT GREEN NEW ENGLAND CHESTNUT BOTTLE - TEMPLE?
ITEM 7939. CHESTNUT BOTTLE, brilliant
blue green, pontil scar, 5 ½"H, applied collar, mint.
Probably blown at a Connecticut Glass House, 1790-1820, rare
color.
The pictures clearly tell the story of this extraordinary New
England chestnut bottle. What a color!!! In addition, the bottle
is blown of the type of metal (in both color and texture) that
is often attributed to the Temple Glass Works.
