ITEM 7816. DIP-MOLD COLOGNE BOTTLE, pale amethyst, cylindrical, pontil scar, 7 1/8"H, flared mouth, a mint bottle exhibiting scattered exterior wear. American, C. 1860, scarce.

This beautifully colored cologne bottle is one of nearly thirty fresh to market objects we are pleased to present from an old Boston area collection. The bottle is quite delicate and blown in the best possible shade of transparent amethyst. It is likely a product of the Boston and Sandwich Glass Works.
