ITEM 7752. EAGLE - MASONIC, (McK#
GIV-14), clear light green, pontil scar, half-pint, tooled mouth,
a mint flask exhibiting some exterior wear. New England, probably
blown at the Keene Marlboro Street Glass Works, Keene, NH, C.
1825, rare.
Probably blown at Keene but perhaps blown in South Boston this
truly hard-to-find Masonic flask is one of the more elusive molds
in McKearin's Group Four (GIV). This attractive example does
exhibit some wear at the high points but the embossing is particularly
strong and the tooled, banded mouth is especially attractive.
