ITEM 7681. "GRANITE / GLASS / CO - STODDARD / NH", (McK# GXV-7), bright orange amber, early smooth base, pint, applied double collar, a mint flask exhibiting some minor exterior wear. Blown at the Granite Glass Works, Stoddard, NH, 1850-1862, ex. Pete Austin Collection.

Our friend Peter kept this flask for years and one can understand why, as it is a superb example with extra-bold embossing, a drippy applied lip and astounding glass clarity. The flask is equal parts orange and amber in color and free of damage with a few areas of light wear at the base edge.
