ITEM 7652. PITKIN-TYPE FLASK,
pale straw yellow, 36 ribs swirled to the left, pontil scar,
5 5/8" H, sheared and fire polished mouth, a mint flask
exhibiting the expected usage wear. New England, probably blown
at a Connecticut Glass Works, 1790-1820.
It is this flask's extraordinary color that makes is a particularly
appealing example. Originally purchased by Holly and I in the
90s, this is the first time the flask has been offered for sale.
