NEW ENGLAND CHESTNUT BOTTLE
ITEM 7647. CHESTNUT BOTTLE, golden
olive amber, pontil scar, 5 7/8"H, crudely applied mouth,
mint. Blown at a New England Glass House, 1790-1820.
Noticeably "plumper" than most, this well-formed chestnut
bottle is blown in a pleasing shade of extra-crude (lots of stones,
swirl lines and bubbles) golden olive amber bottle glass.
