iron pontil scar, 6"H, applied mouth, about mint (light,
spotty exterior haze opposite the embossing). American, C. 1850,
rare.
This rarely encountered Homer, New York master ink is an outstanding
example with strongly embossed lettering, loads of bubbles and
a beautifully crude applied top.
