ITEM 7641. "GROSS & ROBONSON'S / AMERICAN / WRITING FLUID," aquamarine, cylindrical, iron pontil scar, 7 1/16"H, applied mouth, about mint (shallow 1/8" base edge flake and a tiny bruise on the letter "M" in "American"). American, C. 1850, extremely rare.

This impressively sized master ink is one of less than a handful of known examples and it's a good one with bright, clean glass and loads of crudity. Although not technically "perfect" the noted condition issues are minor, especially when considering the rarity of the bottle.
