EXCEPTIONAL
NEW ENGLAND GLOBULAR BOTTLE
ITEM 7636. GLOBULAR BOTTLE, bright
yellow olive, pontil scar, 10 5/8"H, applied sloping collar,
a mint bottle exhibiting the expected usage wear. Blown at a
Connecticut Glass House, 1790-1820.
Decidedly "short-necked" and topped with a tidy applied
collar, this top-of-the-line globular bottle really stands out
in a crowd. Not good or better but rather "the best,"
this is a globular bottle any collector would be proud to own.
