HANDLED WHISKEY BOTTLE WITH COLORFUL ORIGINAL LABEL

ITEM 7475. HANDLED CHESTNUT BOTTLE WITH 75% OF THE ORIGINAL LABEL, golden amber, pontil scar, 8 ¼"H, applied mouth, a mint bottle with label loss as shown. American, C. 1860. Although the bottle itself is relatively common it is only on rare occasions that these handled chestnuts retain their original labels. And, although there is some paper loss, the bright color and overall design of the label makes it an attractive addition indeed. SOLD!
