WESTFORD, CT THREE-PIECE MOLD DEMIJOHN
ITEM 7469. DEMIJOHN, golden amber,
three-piece mold cylinder, sand chip pontil scar, 14"H,
applied sloping collar, mint. Blown at the Westford Glass Works,
Westford, CT, C. 1865.
Extensive excavations on the Westford site have shown that these
beveled edge demijohns were without question blown at the factory.
This example is unusual in that it is pontiled and of a larger
size than most we have encountered.
