ITEM 7447. BEVERAGE BOTTLE,
deep aquamarine, two-piece mold cylinder, pontil scar, 10 ¼"H,
oversized applied sloping collar, mint. Blown at the Redford
Glass Works, Redford, NY, C. 1845, very rare.
Documented as Redford made during a 1970s museum exhibition,
this is the first time we have had an opportunity to own of these
beautiful bottles. Nearly identical in shape to the stoneware
beers of the period, the bottle is thick, gutsy and of undeniable
aesthetic appeal.
