TRUE "YELLOW" CONNECTICUT SNUFF BOTTLE - OUTSTANDING!

ITEM 7432. DIP MOLDED SNUFF BOTTLE, brilliant yellow, rectangular, pontil scar, 4 5/16"H, crudely sheared and fire polished mouth, mint. Blown at a Connecticut Glass House, 1790-1820. Yes, YELLOW. Holly and I owned this snuff more than ten years ago and we were thrilled to again obtain the piece. The bottle is without question the lightest and brightest snuff we know of in this general color range and it offers the added bonus of having had a coin impressed in the base. SOLD!
