VERY CRUDE CONNECTICUT SNUFF BOTTLE

ITEM 7431. DIP MOLDED SNUFF BOTTLE, olive yellow, rectangular, pontil scar, 4 ¾"H, crudely sheared and fire polished mouth, mint. Blown at a Connecticut Glass House, 1790-1820. Primarily yellow but exhibiting an olive tone, this brightly colored snuff bottle is a particularly crude example showing evidence of having a coin impressed in the base. SOLD!
