ITEM 7420. COLLECTION OF THREE
WHISKEY BOTTLES, forest green, golden amber and olive green,
three-piece mold cylinders, pontil scars, 11 ¼"H,
applied sloping collars with rings, about mint. Blown at a Stoddard
Glass Works, Stoddard, NH, C. 1855.
Dramatically different in color yet obviously similar in form,
this group of three-piece mold whiskeys shows the breadth of
production created by the various Stoddard Glass Houses. Both
the olive green and forest green bottles are highly unusual in
color and as shown, the olive green example is truly spectacular.
