ITEM 7415. PAIR OF MAGNUM-SIZED
WHISKEY BOTTLES, golden amber and olive amber, three-piece mold
cylinders, iron and rough pontil scars, 10 9/16"H, applied
sloping collars, about mint. Blown at a Stoddard Glass Works,
Stoddard, NH, C. 1850.
These highly whittled and differently colored Stoddard magnums
make for a great pair and so they shall be sold. The rough pontil
scar on the base of the golden amber bottle is an unusually encountered
characteristic for bottles of this type.
