ITEM 7373. MEDICINE OR UTILITY
BOTTLE, golden olive amber, rectangular with concave beveled
edges, pontil scar, 7 1/4"H, applied sloping collar, about
mint (shallow 1/8" flake at top of panel edge). Blown at
a Stoddard, NH Glass Works, C.1850, rare.
It is this bottle's almost impossibly crude and wavy surface
that first commands attention but the savvy collector will also
note the peculiar richness of the glass color and unusually tidy
mouth treatment
