amber with opalescent white loopings, pontil scar, 2 1/16"H,
sheared and tooled rim, ¼" flash at edge of rim and
two interior open bubbles. Blown at an English Glass House, C.
This impressive Nailsea-type hat is one of very few known examples
created in this form. Appealing both visually and intellectually,
this finely crafted object is a true rarity.
