ITEM 7364. PITKIN-TYPE FLASK,
light olive yellow, 36 ribs ribbed and swirled to the right,
pontil scar, 5 5/8"H, sheared and tooled mouth, about mint
(minor exterior wear and a pinhead-sized lip flake). New England,
probably blown at a Connecticut Glass Works, 1790-1820.
Light in color and boldly patterned, this handsome Connecticut
made Pitkin flask is an excellent example of early American craftsmanship.
