ITEM 7359. PATTERN MOLDED FLASK, golden amber with an olive cast, coinspot pattern, pontil scar, 3 13/16"H, sheared and fire polished mouth, mint. Probably blown at a Midwestern Glass House, C. 1820, rare.

Not since the Blaske sale has a flask of this type come to the market. Diminutively sized and appealing in color, form and pattern, this little gem has all the hallmarks of having been blown at a Midwestern Glass House. It is interesting to note that the Blaske flask, although identical in form and execution is a full two inches taller than this example.
