18TH CENTURY DUTCH LONG NECKED CYLINDER
ITEM 7300. LONG NECKED BLACK
GLASS CYLINDER, clear olive green, 10 5/16"H, applied string
rim, about mint (some usage wear and several paper-thin open
bubbles). Probably blown at a Dutch Glass House, late 18th century.
It is this bottle's outlandishly long neck and truncated body
that make it a particularly appealing object. The bottle's many
bubbles and clearer than normal color add further visual appeal
and make it a truly special 18th century survivor.
