EXTRA
CRUDE NEW ENGLAND INK OR UTILITY CYLINDER
ITEM 7299. UTILITY CYLINDER OR
INK BOTTLE, olive green, two-piece mold cylinder, 4"H, sheared
and fire polished mouth, mint. Blown at a New England Glass House,
1830-1850, scarce.
This scarcely encountered ink or utility cylinder is as fine
an example as we have encountered. The outrageously crude surface
texture is a delight to the eye, as is the overall nature of
the glass.
